Adding Company Info to the Maps

There are a number of ways you can go about adding your company info to the branding box. Here we will outline a few.

Each Digital Map purchase comes with these files

PDF WITH the box is for adding your company branding info
PDF withOUT the box is ready to open and print. Use this file if you do not need to add your company branding info
These are a simplified versions of the map file with no layers or fonts (fonts saved as outlines)
These could be labeled as "4PRINT", “noBox" or “wBox”)

Adobe Illustrator (.ai) - The original, editable, layered document used to create the map. This is fully editable and includes fonts.
Layered PDF file - Same as the above Illustrator document but in PDF format

CREATING YOUR COMPANY BRANDING BOX:

Create your branding box image then save as a JPG or PNG with high quality (300dpi is preferable)
Do NOT choose "transparent" when saving. It should have a solid background.

ADD COMPANY BRANDING BOX WITH A PDF EDITOR

Adobe Acrobat (see instructions below)
Soda (or other online PDF editing services)
Have a graphics person? They will have everything they need to add the company info

ADD COMPANY BRANDING BOX WITH ADOBE ACROBAT

Open the Map PDF in Adobe Acrobat
In the "Tools" toolbar of the choose "Edit PDF"
Click on "Add Image"
Navigate to your branding box image file, select it, and hit "Open"
In the PDF document, place your pointer where you want the image to go and click there. You can resize the image by dragging the border on the edges or the corners.
Once the image is inserted, you can also edit the orientation and other attributes in the Edit Image section.
"Save" or "Save As" the map file with the branding box as a new PDF file. THIS NEW FILE is what you will use for printing.
